ICS Nett, Inc is hiring a Cyber Defense Engineer ACAS for our engagement with DCSA in Quantico, VA .
2 to 3 days a week on-site.
Cyber Defense ACAS Engineer
Location: Quantico, VA
Major Duties: The Cyber Defense ACAS Engineer will be implementing, managing, and enhancing the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) suite to support a Department of Defense customer.
Responsibilities:
• Knowledge and experience with ACAS SC, Nessus Vulnerability Scanners (NVS), and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Automate Vulnerability Assessment using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) for multiple enclaves.
• Maintain and sustain ACAS Security Centers and Scanners using Government supplied hardware and software. Upgrade Security Centers and Scanners to the most recent software versions as they are approved and released by the DISA ACAS Program.
• Plan/Develop RHEL Satellite Architecture for customer requirements
• Continuously monitor the performance and integrity of the ACAS solution, assess scan times, and make changes to improve performance.
• Ensures scheduled scans are covering 100% of intended assets and are being run successfully.
• Interact with clients to receive requests, request clarifications, triage, troubleshoot, and resolve ACAS scanning issues.
• Ability to develop dashboards and reports that automate FISMA, Cyber Scorecard, and applicable DoD/Intelligence Community defined reporting standards.
• Maintains the Nessus scanners and Nessus® Network Monitor (formerly Passive Vulnerability Scanner® or PVS™) connectivity with the associated Security Center (SC)
• Possesses understanding and experience with common cybersecurity toolsets and processes to include STIGs, CAS, IAVA Management and Implementation, and Operation Order
• Ability to provide Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) - DODIN (OPORD)/Fragmentary Order (FRAGO) support.

Experience:
• ACAS experience
• Scripting (Nessus Attack Scripting Language (NASL), Python, Bash) (preferred)
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) experience (preferred)
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technology related field or 3 years of related experience
Certification(s):
• Tenable SecurityCenter 5.x Certification (DISA/CDTC/Tenable University) (preferred)
• IAT III Baseline Certification (CISSP/CASP)
Clearance Level:
• Active Secret/Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
