Position Overview
Advantech GS Enterprises is seeking a Senior Program Management Support to provide support across the full lifecycle of Navy Shipbuilding & Conversion (SCN) programs supporting PMW/A 520. The selected candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to Government leadership, working within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment to coordinate program planning, execution, analysis, and reporting activities supporting critical Navy acquisition initiatives.
This role requires a seasoned acquisition professional with experience supporting Navy Shipbuilding & Conversion or Shipyard programs and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders while delivering high-quality program management support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide program management support across all phases of the acquisition and program lifecycle for PMW/A 520 Shipbuilding & Conversion (SCN) clients.
Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in planning, coordination, execution, and analysis of program activities.
Collaborate closely with Assistant Program Managers (APMs), Government leadership, and functional stakeholders to develop and execute program deliverables.
Develop reports, presentations, decision briefs, and executive-level documentation supporting milestone reviews, leadership decisions, and acquisition planning.
Prepare and coordinate documentation supporting Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions and annual spend plans.
Plan, coordinate, facilitate, and document meetings, Integrated Product Team sessions, technical exchanges, and executive briefings.
Track action items, risks, issues, and follow-up activities to ensure timely completion.
Provide strategic program management recommendations and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate across multiple Government organizations and contractors to ensure program objectives and schedules are achieved.
Utilize Microsoft 365 collaboration tools to support program execution, documentation, and communication.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree with 10 years of relevant program or project management experience.
OR
Bachelor's degree with 14 years of relevant program or project management experience.
Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting program or project management activities.
Direct experience supporting Navy Shipbuilding & Conversion (SCN) programs or Shipyard programs is required.
Experience supporting Department of Defense acquisition program offices.
Strong understanding of Defense Acquisition processes and lifecycle management.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and coordinate across multiple Government stakeholders.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including:
Microsoft Teams
SharePoint
Outlook
Word
Excel
PowerPoint
Active Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting PMW/A 520 or related Navy acquisition organizations.
Familiarity with the Defense Acquisition System (DAS).
Experience supporting Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development and execution.
Knowledge of Navy budgeting, planning, and spend plan development.
Experience supporting executive-level reviews, milestone decisions, and acquisition documentation.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced Government environment.
