Job Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Infrastructure Administrator (Enterprise Storage) to support a federal program located in Fort Belvoir, VA. The Infrastructure Administrator will administer and support enterprise SAN/NAS storage environments that provide secure, highly available data services for mission operations. This individual will work closely with systems, network, database, backup, and cybersecurity teams to ensure storage platforms meet capacity, performance, and availability requirements. This role is only open to those with a TS/SCI clearance.
Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Administrator include:
· Administer and maintain enterprise SAN and NAS storage environments, including provisioning storage, managing LUNs and volumes, and monitoring capacity utilization.
· Configure and support storage technologies such as NetApp, including RAID configuration, snapshots, replication, upgrades, and patch management.
· Monitor storage and server performance to identify and resolve bottlenecks impacting application availability and system performance.
· Troubleshoot storage connectivity, multipathing, backup failures, restore operations, and integration issues across Windows and Linux environments.
· Collaborate with systems, network, database, backup, and cybersecurity teams to implement and support enterprise storage solutions.
· Execute change management activities, participate in incident response efforts, and support scheduled maintenance windows.
· Automate routine storage administration tasks and proactively mitigate risks to data availability, integrity, and performance.
Qualifications for the Infrastructure Administrator include:
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
· 5+ years of experience administering enterprise storage environments.
· Hands-on experience with SAN and/or NAS platforms, including NetApp storage technologies.
· Experience with storage provisioning, LUN and volume management, RAID configuration, snapshots, replication, and performance tuning.
· Experience supporting Windows and Linux servers with attached storage, including multipathing, file systems, and mount management.
· Familiarity with backup and recovery technologies such as Rubrik, Veeam, or comparable enterprise solutions.
· Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
· CompTIA Security+ certification required.
· Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Compensation for the Infrastructure Administrator includes:
· Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 based on experience
