The United States Space Force (USSF) at Buckley AFB, CO is searching for a Unit Training Manager to support Space Systems Command/Delta 4 (MD4), 64 CYS mission (NH-2210-03, GS-12/13 equivalent).
DESCRIPTION:
Seeking a highly organized and proactive Unit Training Manager (UTM) & Administrative Specialist to support the 64th Cyber Squadron (64 CYS). In this role, you will direct critical training, readiness, and compliance programs that directly enable our mission to generate, present, sustain, and improve Defensive Cyber Warfare forces protecting Space Control and Missile Warning and Tracking systems for the Joint Force. The 64 CYS serves as the United States Space Force's (USSF) mission set proponent for Defensive Cyber Warfare executed across the Missile Warning and Tracking area to generate, present, sustain and improve elite Defensive Cyber Warfare forces.
Major Duties & Responsibilities;
- Coordinate multi-faceted training programs tailored for cyber warfare operators, military, civilian, and contractor personnel. Monitor transaction registers and utilize MilPDS, AFTR, TBA, Envision, and ETCA to track unit education, Combat Training standards, and specialized cyber tasks.
- Plan and monitor unit deployment readiness using AFJQS Unit Deployment Manager (8U000) as a guide to sustain active cyber forces. Act as POC for position utilization and reconcile manning documents/discrepancies in MPES to ensure optimized cyber force presentation.
- Oversee the Records and Information Management (RIM) program under DAFI 36-2608 to safeguard sensitive tactical data. Manage FOIA, Privacy Act, and the unit's Publications/Forms program. Serve as primary POC for Inspector General (IG) compliance audits.
- Direct assistance to the Commander on administrative reports, cyber operating instructions, and security programs. Act as the primary sponsor to welcome, orient, and schedule initial training for newly assigned cyber personnel joining the 64 CYS mission.
IDEAL CANDIDATE :
Serves as the primary Unit Training Manager and principal advisor to the squadron commander/director for critical unit programs. This position independently directs, manages, and executes all unit training and administrative programs to include but not limited to Unit Training Management, Unit Deployment Management, Knowledge Management, Security Management, and Records Management. Serves as the resident Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all assigned administrative support programs, ensuring unit compliance with federal laws, Department of Defense (DoD), Combat Forces Command (CFC), Mission Delta 4 (MD 4), Department of the Air Force (DAF), United States Space Force (USSF), and squadron directives.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Sensitive / Top Secret security clearance with eligibility to Sensitive Compartmented Information SCI), a non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
- Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information and/or files in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
- May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
- Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed "Unscheduled Telework".
- This position will close after 5 business days or 75 applications, whichever comes first.
- Employees may be required to perform travel by military or commercial passenger aircraft in the performance of temporary duty assignments.
- Employee must within 30-days of assuming this position and annually thereafter, file an OGE-450, "Confidential Financial Disclosure Report." Employees are required to attend annual ethics and procurement integrity training.
- Subject to TDY 20 days per year.
- Will attain appropriate PSC: Physical Security Certification.
- This position has been designated for drug testing. Incumbent is subject to random urinalysis testing as a condition of employment.
