Job Description

Duties

  • You will prepare lessons plans, training aids and periodic examinations for Reactor Plant Worker Qualification Training.
  • You will present lectures and assist students with problems.
  • You will coordinate the scheduling of facilities, supplies, manuals and staff to accomplish preparation, teaching, written examination for the assigned course.
  • You will review and approve lesson plans and related training materials.
  • You will evaluate student progress and maintain grade and qualification records.

  • Candidate must possess experience in the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP).
  • Candidates must have a background of operational experience and technical training.
Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating technical engineering processes and procedures pertaining to Naval nuclear reactor work to develop training curriculum or lesson plans ensuring employee qualifications meet federal and local requirements.
