Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) direct, operational experience in antiterrorism, force protection, physical security, or a closely related law enforcement or intelligence field; 2) conducting terrorism threat analysis, criticality assessments, and comprehensive vulnerability assessments; 3) planning for and responding to a range of terrorist and criminal incidents; 4) establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with law enforcement agencies and/or intelligence agencies; and 5) exceptional written and oral communication abilities, with skill in briefing senior leadership staff on complex security matters.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). - You will develop and implement a comprehensive program to combat terrorism, conducting risk assessments, updating protection plans, and coordinating with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure the installation remains secure.
- You will plan, execute, and evaluate anti-terrorism exercises and training, ensuring all personnel are prepared, physical security measures are maintained, and emergency procedures are integrated into long-term operational strategies.
- You will review and analyze intelligence reports and security data to identify potential threats, develop mitigation strategies, and recommend protective measures that align with both immediate and long-range security objectives.
- You will establish and maintain libraries of current directives, policies, and procedures, ensuring that all personnel have access to updated guidance for emergency response, threat prevention, and anti-terrorism compliance.
- You will coordinate with installation management, funding authorities, and external agencies to prioritize projects, secure resources, and address deficiencies in anti-terrorism programs while meeting long-term operational goals.

- Position designated as a Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) position with additional credentialling requirement of Antiterrorism Credential (ATC). Credentialling must be obtained and maintained in accordance with SECNAVINST 5500.38.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
