Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst to support critical financial intelligence and national security initiatives. This role involves analyzing large and complex datasets, identifying meaningful patterns, and delivering actionable insights that support intelligence analysis, economic security, and policy decision-making. The ideal candidate has experience working with structured and unstructured data, machine learning technologies, and advanced analytics within a mission-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Analyze large structured, unstructured, and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and actionable insights.
Support stakeholders by translating mission requirements into data-driven solutions and analytical products.
Research, develop, and implement data methodologies to support intelligence and financial analysis efforts.
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis related to financial systems, trade activity, and geopolitical developments.
Perform data analysis using tools such as Python, SQL, R, MATLAB, Spark, and Jupyter.
Develop statistical, predictive, and probabilistic models to solve complex analytical problems.
Utilize machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-Learn and TensorFlow to derive insights from proprietary datasets.
Build and analyze property graphs and network relationships using data from multiple sources.
Create visualizations and dashboards using Tableau, PowerPoint, charts, graphs, and reporting tools.
Communicate technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Present analytical results and insights to stakeholders and decision-makers.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance.
Associate's degree with 6+ years of data analysis experience, Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 2+ years of experience.
Experience with Python, SQL, R, MATLAB, Spark, and Jupyter for data analysis and analytics.
Experience applying statistical analysis techniques to large datasets.
Experience with predictive modeling, probabilistic modeling, and machine learning.
Experience using Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or similar machine learning frameworks.
Experience working with big data platforms and analytics tools.
Experience correlating disparate datasets to identify trends and relationships.
Experience building property graphs and conducting network analytics.
Ability to work with large, unstructured, and noisy datasets and deliver actionable insights.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting intelligence community or other cleared environments.
Experience with financial intelligence, trade analysis, economic security, or financial crime investigations.
Knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions, financial crime typologies, or illicit finance.
Understanding of formal and informal financial systems.
Experience producing intelligence-style analytical reports and products.
CAMS, CGSS, CFCS, or other financial intelligence-related certifications.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
