Kentro is seeking an experienced Facility Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs ESOM program. This role is responsible for office space management and workstation assignment, interior space design and space tracking to include AITC AutoCAD-based, project management of renovations in accordance with federal building codes, and hands-on facility management including furniture moves and repairs, signage, warehouse and logistics operations, vendor escort, and physical safety and security support. These functions are location-dependent and continuous - they cannot be delivered centrally and require trained personnel physically present at each site.
Location: Austin, TX
Compensation Range: The salary for this position is between $160-170K/annually. Factors affecting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day operations at the Quantico location, submitting and overseeing work orders. Assist with purchase requests, contracts, renovations, interior and exterior building needs.
- Project Manager for all aspects of office building space management from relocations, remodeling, and complete construction projects.
- Track costs, schedule and performance progress.
Identify and mitigate risks. - Conduct market research, develop conceptual design based on client meetings, design services on small in-house projects, create project schedules, reports and review of third-party design team documents and work.
- Provide support with security and safety needs, annual staff reviews, safety and security walk throughs making sure campus is in compliance.
- Also provide support for other VA Data Center locations. Assign seating and provide staff support. Submit RFQ's to vendors, assist with writing up contract submittal packages.
- Assist with tracking leased space/facility budgeting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline.
- 10+ years of relevant Experience.
- 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
- AutoCAD
- Must have experience managing Information Technology facility related projects. Must be well versed in facility life cycle and project management methodologies.
- Must have experience in the creation of routine and ad hoc reports.
- Must be able to provide oral and written discussion of analytical findings using narrative and graphic forms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP certified- preferred, or relevant project management experience.
- ITIL Foundation certified or equivalent IT service management certified - preferred, or relevant experience.

- US Citizen or Green card holder
- Willing and able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
