In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions, GS-0203.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE FOR CURRENT/PREVIOUS FEDERAL EMPLOYEES: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-07, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes knowledge of military personnel regulations, practices, and policies. Knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of the employing organization. Knowledge of military personnel data systems and data processing functions, techniques, and capabilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:Knowledge of, and skill in applying, a comprehensive body of military HR rules, procedures, technical methods
sufficient to review personnel relocation forms, programs and packages. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization
through subordinate supervisors. Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program
requirements and objectives within available resources. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Knowledge of military personnel automated systems including Military Personnel Data System (MilPDS), PCIII
(Personnel Concept 111), Transaction Register (TR) and Joint Uniform Military Pay System (JUMPS). PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

- Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of Personnel Relocations Element (82 MSS/DPMAR).
- Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through
subordinate supervisors/leaders. - Represents 82 MSS/DPMAR with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with the 80th Flying Training Wing, and 82d Training Wing; all base training groups and squadrons, wing agencies, and higher headquarters.
- Provides technical guidance, information, and assistance for a variety of Personnel Relocation programs such
as retirements/separations, complaints, active duty service commitments, transaction register, outbound assignments, and safety. Provides guidance and assistance related to all retirement/separation issues (e.g., DD Form 214 Reviews, administrative separations, hardship separations, pregnancy separations, voluntary and involuntary separations, appellate review boards, nonfullfilled enlistment commitments, Survivor Benefit Plan, PALACE CHASE, etc.). - Maintains an internal self-evaluation program designed to comply with Air Force directives governing the personnel programs administered by the Relocation Element.
