Job Description

Duties

  • You will provide clinical supervision concerning evaluation, risk assessment, intervention, treatment, and case management for a wide range of client needs.
  • You will assess patient treatment needs to develop a treatment plan.
  • You will identify needs of families experiencing domestic violence to provide counseling or assistance.
  • You will assess the services provided by staff members to verify quality care is provided to service members and their families.
  • You will determine facts and conditions of various life conditions to draw conclusions as to underlying causes or contributing factors of client problems.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • This position is considered Key/Non-Combat Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support of the expeditionary requirements in other than combat or combat support situations.
Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Providing leadership, management, policy, program, and resource management for family support programs or clinical counseling programs;
2) Facilitating multiple program services such as family advocacy, new parent support, clinical counseling, and crisis response emergency management;
3) Directing use of fund resources to ensure delivery of programs and services provided;
4) Maintaining professional contacts with both private and public organizations to develop, implement, or establish programs and operating parameters.
