Supply Management Officer

• Oversee the work of subordinate supervisors in warehousing, supply distribution, and supply technical functions.
• Develop local policies based on guidance issued by leadership.
• Execute annual operating budget in accordance to the mission.
• Ensure all reporting requirements are met.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• One-year supervisory probationary period required. A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.

One year of specialized experience which includes executing budgets and contract administration; overseeing medical inventory and program management; and leading or supervising a logistics team. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
