Job Description

The is responsible for auditing and analyzing aircraft maintenance, training, environmental health and safety programs, policies, processes and procedures, ensuring that performance and quality conform to established standards and guidelines to ensure lasting customer satisfaction.
  • A minimum of Five (5) years Aviation maintenance experience on the or is Required, and UC-35 Citation experience is desired.
  • certificate is Required, with IA desired.
  • US Citizenship is Required to obtain a US Govt Secret Security Clearance, and for facility access.
  • Perform scheduled audits & follow procedures on documenting failures and quality escapes
  • Provide expertise and guidance in interpreting governmental regulations, agency guidelines, internal policies and technical procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Assist the Quality Manager in implementing and auditing processes and programs.
  • Ensure quality, environmental, health and safety standards comply with statutory requirements.
  • Enforce compliance of operational personnel, company requirements and government regulations.
  • Review operational reports to determine the requirements for increasing safety.
  • Provide leadership and knowledge to Quality department members and teams as necessary.
  • Implement and ensure compliance in the International Standard Organization (ISO)-9001:2008 program.
  • Maintain inspection schedules and verify procedures are followed.
  • Assist in Maintenance Data Systems Analysis, to include research studies and with investigations.
  • Review company and Government documents and software for content accuracy and compliance.
  • Initiate actions when additional attention is required to resolve adverse maintenance trends or training problems.
  • Maintain QA programs to ensure compliance, accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Effectively present information to Sr. Leadership and the Customer, with the ability to respond to in-depth questions from management.
  • Perform other position related duties as assigned or requested.



  • Bachelor's degree is desired; High School diploma or GED equivalent is Required.
  • A valid certificate is Required.
  • Inspection Authorization is desired, (or have the ability to obtain an IA if requested or required).
  • A minimum of Five (5) years Aviation maintenance experience on the or is Required, Citation experience and knowledge is preferred and desired.
  • Five (5) or more years' experience in any combination of the following areas: US Army Aviation Maintenance Quality Assurance, International Standardization Organization (ISO)-9000 or Aviation Safety and Environmental Compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of Army aviation maintenance processes with an emphasis on requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of Commercial and (FAA) Quality process and systems.
  • Must have broad working knowledge of Quality systems and be familiar with the Quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industrial safety programs, workers' compensation, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and Code of Federal Regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with effective leadership and interpersonal skills are Required; with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel and/or deploy overseas when requested or required, due to operational necessity.
  • 75% of workday in office environment, 25% of work time spent out (hangar, flightline) inspecting aircraft.



  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt Secret Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials and authorization. to hold a US Govt Secret Clearance, and facility credentials and authorization to work at this facility.



  • Willing and able to work any shift and weekends if requested due to operational requirements. (Current work schedule is on-site Five (5) days a week, for 40 hours a week. (Weekends are on an as needed basis only).
  • Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature, may work in a hangar, or maintenance shop and/or outside as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • May be exposed to extreme noise from operating equipment.
  • May be exposed to electrical shock hazards or work near moving mechanical parts or vehicles
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to bend, stoop, crouch and crawl in tight locations of small aircraft.
