Job Description
We are hiring a Property Book Clerk to coordinate, track, record, tag, receive, distribute, replace, dispose and coordinate repair of assets to ensure proper accountability and recordkeeping. The Property Book Clerk shall maintain and update databases and software to ensure asset control and to generate and compile reports related to fleet vehicles, tractors, property, infrastructure and leased/rented equipment, tractor hour usage and actuary data related to insurance claims submitted to the online database system

- Conduct various tasks to include: updating information; verifying information; communicating with customers; generating reports; releasing or the transfer of property; and maintain records in a property accountable system.
- Follow directions from the Contractor Supervisor and COR while working independently and as a team.
- Perform database entry and maintain records for accountability and to an audit standard.
- Know and understand ARMY property regulation.
- Verify and reconcile fixed assets by physically locating and identifying assets at various locations across DEVCOM-CBC to ensure accountability.
- Deliver excellent customer service both to internal and external customers while working collaboratively to build professional relationships (i.e., personnel, customers, etc.).
- Perform annual property/asset inventories of customers and track receipt through an internal process.
- Identify safety concerns to the Contractor Supervisor and other required stakeholders.
- Assist in maintaining accurate files and provide documentation to the COR as applicable.
- Provide and assist with the required data to the Contractor Supervisor for a monthly report/tracking matrix of all related matters.
- Ensure all administrative functions/paperwork are in order relative to receipt documentation.
- Ensure work orders, or internal paperwork, are accomplished on time and in the required format.
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite while performing or conducting job duties and be attentive to detail.
- Support the mission, vision, values, and goals of the US ARMY.
Required Experience
- Minimum of (3) Years of Personal Property Book Experience working in a DoD Accountable Property Database/System (DPAS/GCSS-ARMY), Associates of Arts Degree, and an active CLASS C Driver's License
or
- Minimum of (5) Years of Personal Property Book Experience working in a DoD Accountable Property Database/System (DPAS/GCSS-ARMY), High School Diploma/GED, and an active CLASS C Driver's License
or
- Served in the US Military and retained a Logistics - Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) in a related capacity for a Minimum of (4) Years, and an (active CLASS C Driver's License.
