Precise Systems seeks a Night Shift Tool Room Work Center Supervisor to lead our team of Tools and Parts Attendants in service to Naval Test Wing Atlantic (NTWL)

The role requires on-site support.

Core Hours: 1500-2330 ( Operational tempo may dictate shift deviations )

Duties:
  • Supervises day-to-day maintenance tasks on assigned equipment and machinery
  • This position requires the application of professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufacturer's manuals
  • Coordinates and supervises activities of personnel, determining and directing specific work assignments
  • The individual assigned will be required to assists in the operations of the maintenance departments per the NAVAIRINST 3710.1G
  • Ensures full and effective employment of assigned personnel
  • Ensures all work is scheduled and performed in a safe and efficient manner
  • Responsible for compliance with special programs as assigned
  • Ensures direct reports are fully compliant with all approved procedures
  • Ensures all direct reports and maintenance employees receive job and safety training
  • Identifies material and special tooling needed to accomplish the daily work assignment
  • Provides employees with proper training on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • May lead and direct a group of two or more individuals
  • Fall Protection - Performs all duties as "Competent Person" or Fall Protection Program Manager
  • Responsible for Night Check tasking for TPA's, GSE, and Hazmat
  • Provides mandatory training to all Night Shift Tool Room, GSE, and Hazmat personnel and will document said training in Readiness Insight.
  • May be required to go on detachments
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Associate's Degree or trade license preferred
  • A&P License/FAA Certification desired
  • For work center 13A (ALSS) only graduates of Navy PR or equivalent Air Force or Army MOS shall be allowed to perform ALSS system maintenance
  • For work center 13B (Egress) only graduates of Navy AME "A" school/Service equivalent formal school or by an equivalent Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certified trainer course shall be allowed to perform egress system maintenance
  • Candidate must have had corrosion control training.

Required Experience:
  • At least six (6) years of experience in the aircraft maintenance environment
  • Knowledge of safe working techniques and procedures
  • The individual assigned must have the ability to plan, schedule maintenance work requirements, have a working technical knowledge of aircraft, machinery, facilities, and equipment
  • The person has to have a detailed knowledge of aircraft's unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes, and sheers, etc
  • The assigned individual must have a strong mechanical aptitude in order to offer technical direction in all maintenance areas and knowledge of supply procedures. Understand technical language terms in a relevant technical field.
  • Complete knowledge and understanding of the NAVAIRINST 3710.1G.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $86,190.40 to $129,285.60 annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
