Overview
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Engineer to support the development and execution of product support, sustainment, and lifecycle logistics strategies for complex aerospace and defense systems.
This position will lead the development of Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Product Support Analysis (PSA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) assessments, and Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA). The selected candidate will play a key role in establishing supportability frameworks, maintenance concepts, provisioning strategies, and lifecycle sustainment solutions from program inception through deployment and sustainment.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) and Product Support Analysis (PSA) activities.
Create and execute Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) methodologies and recommendations.
Conduct Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analyses and FMECA assessments.
Develop Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Plans, Product Support Strategies (PSS), and sustainment approaches.
Establish maintenance concepts, supportability requirements, provisioning strategies, and sparing models.
Develop and maintain logistics documentation, technical data, maintenance task analyses, and provisioning records.
Support lifecycle cost, readiness, and availability initiatives through data-driven analysis.
Partner with engineering, program management, supply chain, and customer stakeholders to ensure supportability requirements are incorporated throughout the system lifecycle.
Support configuration management, obsolescence planning, sustainment trade studies, and program reviews.
Contribute to proposals, business capture efforts, and long-term sustainment planning.
Required Qualifications
Level III
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant engineering, logistics, sustainment, or supportability experience.
Master's degree and 3+ years of experience may be considered.
Level IV
Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant engineering, logistics, sustainment, or supportability experience.
Master's degree and 6+ years of experience may be considered.
Both Levels
Active Secret Security Clearance.
Experience with Logistics Support Analysis (LSA).
Experience with Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).
Experience supporting Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or Product Support Analysis (PSA) programs.
Knowledge of Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) principles.
Experience performing FMECA/FMEA analyses.
Working knowledge of applicable military and industry standards, including MIL-STD-1388, GEIA-STD-0007, S3000L, MIL-HDBK-502, S1000D, MIL-STD-31000, or related standards.
Strong written, verbal, and customer-facing communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing logistics, supportability, or sustainment frameworks from program inception.
Aerospace, defense, satellite, missile, spacecraft, or military systems experience.
Experience with provisioning, sparing analysis, and maintenance planning.
Experience developing Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and Total Ownership Cost (TOC) models.
Proficiency with logistics tools such as EAGLE, SLIC, PowerLOG-J, or eQUIP.
Lean Six Sigma, Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), Certified Professional Logistician (CPL), or similar certifications.
