Job Description
Markon is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support an Intelligence Community customer by designing, developing, and maintaining secure cloud-native applications that support mission-critical operations. This role develops modern full-stack solutions across front-end, back-end, and cloud platforms using microservices within an Agile Scrum environment. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure software while advancing modern application architecture and DevSecOps best practices.
Desired Qualifications
USD $150,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure full-stack applications using modern software development frameworks and cloud-native technologies.
- Develop scalable back-end services, microservices, and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot to support distributed application architectures.
- Design and develop responsive front-end applications using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS while integrating with back-end services.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to transform wireframes, mockups, and prototypes into intuitive, production-ready user interfaces.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain applications within AWS environments while supporting CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices using Jenkins and GitHub.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls to protect enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, product owners, and Government stakeholders in an Agile Scrum environment to deliver mission-critical solutions.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience developing full-stack software applications.
- Experience developing applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed application architectures.
- Experience developing cloud-hosted applications within AWS environments.
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices using Jenkins and GitHub.
- Experience implementing secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with developing cloud-hosted applications within AWS environments.
- Experience developing technical documentation, architecture guidance, and standard operating procedures using Confluence.
- Experience demonstrating software capabilities and architectural approaches to Government stakeholders and incorporating customer feedback into future development efforts.
- Experience developing or supporting AWS-hosted applications, including AWS CloudTrail.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience developing applications using C#.
- Experience supporting Intelligence Community software development programs.
