Job Description
Markon is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Fort Meade customer by advancing Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) capabilities that protect the nation's most critical classified and unclassified networks. This role partners with software development and systems engineering teams to design cloud-based solutions, develop system architectures, and guide the integration of enterprise data across complex mission environments. The role serves as a key interface between technical teams and mission stakeholders, translating operational needs into scalable engineering solutions that enable secure information sharing and mission success.
Required Qualifications
USD $200,000.00 - USD $210,000.00 /Yr.

- Develop system architectures, engineering plans, and technical documentation supporting Cyber Threat Intelligence mission capabilities.
- Collaborate with software development and systems engineering teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions aligned with customer mission objectives.
- Elicit, analyze, and refine customer requirements, translating operational needs into technical solutions and implementation plans.
- Coordinate deployment planning and systems integration activities across multiple engineering teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Government customers, mission partners, and external stakeholders to promote collaboration and mission success.
- Support product outreach and technical engagement activities, communicating system capabilities and gathering customer feedback.
- Engineer and document enterprise data-sharing solutions, including internal and external data-sharing policies and authorization requirements.
- Support multi-domain data thread engineering across Top Secret, Secret, and Unclassified environments.
- Develop and maintain system architecture artifacts, engineering documentation, and project deliverables using Jira and Confluence.
- Evaluate cloud technologies and enterprise integration approaches to support scalable, secure mission capabilities across AWS and Azure environments.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with this Customer.
- Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of systems engineering experience.
- Experience developing system architectures, engineering plans, and technical design documentation.
- Strong customer engagement, stakeholder management, and technical communication skills.
- Experience supporting enterprise data-sharing policies, authorization processes, and cross-organizational collaboration.
- Experience with data thread engineering, including multi-domain (Top Secret, Secret, and Unclassified) data integration.
- Experience capturing engineering artifacts and technical documentation using Jira and Confluence.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and commercial cloud service offerings.
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts, enterprise systems integration, and big data analytics.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience supporting Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) programs or enterprise cyber operations.
- Experience developing cloud-native architectures supporting Intelligence Community missions.
- Experience integrating data across multi-domain or cross-domain environments.
- Familiarity with Agile software development and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience supporting enterprise modernization initiatives within secure Government environments.
