Job Description
Markon is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Fort Meade customer as a Technical Task Order (TTO) Lead for mission-critical analytics development. This role provides technical leadership, systems engineering, and project coordination for a team developing, testing, and delivering modernized analytics that support operational mission requirements. Working closely with software engineers and mission stakeholders, the role guides the planning, integration, and delivery of analytic capabilities that ensure system compliance, data integrity, and mission effectiveness.

- Serve as the Technical Task Order (TTO) Lead, providing technical direction and systems engineering oversight for a team of software engineers.
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of systems engineering activities supporting modernized analytic capabilities.
- Collaborate with software development teams to design, integrate, test, and deliver mission-critical analytics.
- Develop and manage technical plans, implementation roadmaps, schedules, and engineering documentation.
- Elicit, analyze, and refine customer and system requirements to ensure mission objectives are achieved.
- Coordinate system integration, testing, validation, and deployment activities across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Ensure analytics comply with system, data, and operational requirements while supporting customer mission objectives.
- Identify technical risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Government customers, mission partners, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Support Agile software development processes and contribute to the successful delivery of operational capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with this Customer.
- Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of systems engineering experience.
- Experience leading technical teams or Task/Technical Task Orders supporting software development programs.
- Experience with systems engineering throughout the system development lifecycle, including requirements development, integration, testing, and deployment.
- Experience collaborating with software engineering teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities.
- Experience developing technical documentation, engineering plans, schedules, and implementation roadmaps.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

- Experience supporting Processing and Analytic Capabilities organizations or similar Intelligence Community mission environments.
- Experience developing, modernizing, or sustaining PROFORMA analytics.
- Experience supporting system and data compliance initiatives.
- Experience supporting Intelligence Community operational analytics and mission systems.
