The SLA Analysis Group's mission is to deliver objective analyses, plans and strategies to US Navy, US Marine Corps, USAF, other DoD, and Australian Defence Force clients to support technology development, acquisition, delivery and sustainment decisions. The group provides the core of SPA thought leadership on Undersea Strategy, Software Development and Cost Estimating, with additional benchmark capabilities in AI/ML & Decision Analytics, Modeling and Simulation, and Future Force Assessments.
SPA has a need for a Program Budget and Financial Analyst to support AF/A10's nuclear and NC3 portfolios across the PPBE cycle. This role helps connect strategic guidance and program requirements to sound, well‑supported financial positions. # MC
Responsibilities
The Program Budget and Financial Analyst reviews planning guidance, program documents, and execution data to help develop and justify financial plans for nuclear and NC3 program elements. They assist Program Element Monitors and Resource Advisors with analysis of commitments, obligations, and expenditures, and draft financial materials for budget reviews and senior discussions. They produce recurring and ad hoc execution reports, identify variances and risks, and recommend corrective actions. They also support preparation of budget justification materials, slides, and responses to questions from higher headquarters and external stakeholders.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in program/budget analysis, financial management, or related work for DoD or other government programs.
- Strong skills with spreadsheets and financial analysis tools, and ability to interpret and explain financial data to non‑financial audiences.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Air Force or DoD PPBE processes and tools.
- Familiarity with nuclear or NC3 program elements and associated governance forums.
