Job Description
Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Reston, Virginia, SOSi is a private defense and government solutions business specializing in advanced technology systems and mission support. Its capabilities include data science, software development, network engineering, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), and logistics.
SOSi is seeking experienced IT and cybersecurity professionals to support a large-scale Department of Defense enterprise modernization effort. These positions will play a critical role in delivering secure, mission-focused IT services spanning enterprise infrastructure, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, enterprise architecture, data management, and program leadership. Successful candidates will collaborate with Government stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams to modernize enterprise capabilities, improve operational performance, and support the delivery of resilient, secure, and scalable technology solutions across a geographically dispersed environment.
The CIO Services Task Lead will provide technical and operational leadership supporting enterprise IT strategy, portfolio management, governance, project planning, enterprise architecture, and digital modernization initiatives. The position will lead strategic planning efforts, technology roadmaps, governance activities, stakeholder engagement, and enterprise transformation initiatives while ensuring alignment between business objectives and IT investments.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise IT strategy and modernization initiatives
- Develop enterprise technology roadmaps
- Manage IT governance and portfolio management activities
- Support enterprise architecture and digital transformation initiatives
- Coordinate project planning and technology integration efforts
- Advise Government leadership on modernization priorities
- Lead cross-functional planning and stakeholder engagement
- Support IT investment planning and performance management
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years leading enterprise IT organizations or modernization initiatives
- Active Top Secret clearance
- Experience with IT governance and portfolio management
- Experience leading enterprise technology transformation efforts
- Experience supporting strategic planning and executive stakeholder engagement
Preferred:
- Active Top Secret w/ SCI eligibility
- Experience supporting DoD CIO organizations
- Experience with enterprise architecture or digital modernization
- ITIL, PMP, or similar leadership certification
Work Environment
- Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations
- Hybrid work model
- Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 - 1700.
- May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs
