Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX.
The GFE Production Engineering team is hiring an Experienced Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to support the technical statement of work in San Antonio, TX.
- 5+ years manufacturing planning/engineering experience with electrical systems
- Experience with GOLD

The GFE Production Engineering team is hiring an Experienced Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to support the technical statement of work in San Antonio, TX.
- Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies.
- Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
- Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build.
- Leads and implements manufacturing plans.
- Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
- Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices.
- Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.
- Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.
- Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.
- Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
- Implements lean principles and technologies.
- Reviews electrical design requirements and approves new releases and revisions to existing designs.
- Reviews and implements non-conformance requirements into shop floor work orders and supplier specifications.
- Translates design requirements Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) into Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) to create and maintain part demand within the program production system.
- Previous client experience preferred
- Work in a factory environment and able to withstand those conditions (walking, going up and down steps and scaffolding)
- Accredited Bachelor's in STEM.
- 4x10 (A shift: Sun-Wed, B shift: Wed-Sat), 2nd shift
- Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement of this request
- Candidate must hold an active secret clearance.
