PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 3, in San Antonio, TX. Job ID#219244
Job Description:
Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies.
Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build.
Leads and implements manufacturing plans.
Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices.
Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.
Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.
Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.
Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
Implements lean principles and technologies.
Reviews electrical design requirements and approves new releases and revisions to existing designs.
Reviews and implements non-conformance requirements into shop floor work orders and supplier specifications.
Translates design requirements Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) into Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) to create and maintain part demand within the program production system
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years manufacturing planning/engineering experience
Experience with GOLD
Bachelor s in STEM
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Boeing experience preferred
Physical requirements:
Work in a factory environment and able to withstand those conditions (walking, going up and down steps and scaffolding)
Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement of this request
