Position Overview

ThinkTek is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to serve as the technical lead for enterprise Microsoft Power Platform solutions supporting a Federal Government customer. This individual will provide technical leadership in solution architecture, enterprise application development, and systems integration while ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with the customer's strategic modernization objectives.

The ideal candidate is an expert in Microsoft Power Platform architecture with experience leading enterprise implementations, establishing governance frameworks, and mentoring technical teams in delivering innovative, mission-focused solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead technical authority for all Microsoft Power Platform development activities.

  • Design and oversee end-to-end solution architectures for enterprise-scale Power Platform applications.

  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks, development standards, and best practices for the Power Platform environment.

  • Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and maintainable applications, workflows, and automations.

  • Provide technical leadership for enterprise application development and systems integration efforts.

  • Collaborate with government stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Ensure solutions align with strategic business transformation objectives and client requirements.

  • Guide development teams through architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and solution implementation.

  • Evaluate emerging Microsoft technologies and recommend enhancements to improve platform capabilities.

  • Ensure compliance with federal security, accessibility, and governance requirements.

  • Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation guidance.

  • Support deployment planning, testing, and production implementation activities.

  • Mentor junior engineers and developers while fostering technical excellence across project teams.


Required Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Agency-Specific Public Trust.

  • One of the following education and experience combinations:


    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience; or

    • Master's degree in a related field with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience; or

    • A relevant expert-level technical certification (such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert) with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a formal degree.


  • Relevant experience must include:


    • Solution architecture

    • Enterprise application development

    • Technical leadership

    • Systems integration


  • Minimum of three (3) years supporting Federal Government agencies.

  • Demonstrated experience designing, architecting, and deploying enterprise-scale technology solutions.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, application lifecycle management, and solution governance.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Required Certification

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600).


Pay Range

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $110,846 – $135,798. This range is a good-faith estimate and not a guarantee of compensation. Final compensation will be based on factors including experience, education, skills, geographic location, internal equity, market data, and applicable contract requirements, and may fall outside the posted range.
