PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an Associate Talent Acquisition Business Partner (TABP) to support University Relations & Recruiting (UR&R) within a leading Aeronautics organization. - Build and maintain strategic relationships with target universities, faculty, career services teams, and student organizations.
- Develop and execute campus recruiting strategies focused on engineering disciplines and emerging technologies.
- Create and maintain candidate engagement and "keep warm" strategies throughout academic cycles.
- Lead and participate in career fairs, networking events, campus engagement activities, and recruiting initiatives.
- Strengthen employer brand awareness by promoting company culture, mission, and career opportunities.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for internships and early-career opportunities, from candidate sourcing through offer acceptance.
- Screen, assess, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define hiring profiles, candidate requirements, and selection strategies.
- Serve as a strategic advisor on campus recruiting trends and early-career talent market insights.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through proactive communication and transparency.
- Utilize recruiting metrics and workforce data to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Analyze University Relations & Recruiting performance metrics and recommend improvements.
- Support and implement process enhancements that drive operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with recruiting policies, university guidelines, and company procedures.
- High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition Recruiting and/or University Relations; OR
- Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of experience in Talent Acquisition Recruiting and/or University Relations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, particularly during peak campus recruiting seasons.
- Must be based in or able to commute to the assigned work location.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruiting through offer acceptance.
- Experience using Workday and Eightfold recruiting platforms.
- Corporate recruiting experience.
- Experience supporting internship, university, or early-career recruiting programs.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
