Job Description

is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented to join our team based out of This is an onsite position.

The Network Engineer must exhibit good judgment in interfacing with all government and contract personnel, providing proper examples of work performance, and adherence to professional standards and operational and security guidelines as defined by the Government and MANTECH.


  • Hands-on experience and expertise in the installation and management of public and/or private networks such as Internet protocol (IP) networks, wide area networks (WANs), switches, routers (Cisco), and troubleshooting servers and networks to provide maximum performance; provide guidance to the Manager, provide weekly and monthly performance reports, as well as daily reporting to the customer on all critical issues and their resolutions.
  • Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance network capabilities, expertise to identify innovative solutions to most complex situations; design and optimize network topologies; analyze and develop new hardware requirements and prepare specifications for hardware.
  • Direct and lead preparation of engineering plans and site installation Technical Design Packages; develop infrastructure installation schedules.
  • Provides hands on experience and provides guidance to highly technical systems engineers, Server installation, WAN infrastructure team, and Operation teams; provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and business partners, troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Assist in design of network installation configuration for new sites, support decommissioning of a site, and assist in moves; coordinate with internal and external teams for procurement, installation, and management of network related inventory (switches, routers, etc.).
  • Travel to customer sites and perform deployment activities to include, site surveys, install hardware, install software, remove hardware, check hardware for shipment that connect to network. Organize and direct hardware installations and support site surveys; conduct Training sessions to ensure all team members are cross trained in supported technology and provide Tier III network technical issue resolution, that also include infrastructure-related problems.
  • Direct and lead preparation of drawings documenting network configuration changes at each site; may lead functional teams or projects require depth and/or breadth of expertise, and all other tasks assigned by the Manager; ability to manage and lead a small team, ensuring effective collaboration, task delegation, and timely completion of objectives.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of experience in Information Technology, focus in networking, Cisco router and switch configuration, LAN, WAN management.
  • Hands-on experience and expertise in the installation and management of public and/or private networks such as Internet protocol (IP) networks, wide area networks (WANs), switches, routers (Cisco), and troubleshooting servers and networks to provide maximum performance.
  • Hands-on experience with server installations including Windows Server, Oracle OEL, Linux and Database Support.
  • Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication both verbally and non-verbally to deliver updates; briefings; or interface with co-workers; leadership as well as customer; demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making; experience in Customer Service.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Productivity applications; one or more technical certifications, preferably in networking (e.g. CCNA, CCST, CCNP) required.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% CONUS and/or OCONUS.



  • Associate or Bachelors degree highly preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting network and server installation, integration, and support in a Federal government enterprise environment.
  • Experience contributing as part of an Agile team.
  • Experience with MS Power Automate, MS Dynamics, MS Power BI, MS SQL Server, Oracle, VMWare.
  • Current active Secret clearance strongly preferred


  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to starting this position and maintain a Secret clearance thereafter.



  • Must be able to physically lift equipment weight up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to perform installation work in constrained spaces like under work desks, in small cubicles, and counter window environments.
  • Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication both verbally and non-verbally to deliver updates; briefings; or interface with co-workers; leadership as well as customer.
  • Must be able to work in an office environment and be able to freely move within this space to utilize office equipment as well as interface with co-workers and customers.
  • Must be able to effectively use IT peripherals such as laptop, desktop, printer, fax machine, etc.
  • Must be able to deliver presentations as needed.
  • Must be able to review; decipher and understand programming manuals; software/hardware manuals; training manuals; etc.
