Job Description
Database Administrator
Location: Remote
Required Clearance: Public Trust

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage database operations supporting ECM/xECM and related systems, ensuring availability, performance, scalability, and integrity across all program environments.
- Design and manage database schemas, indexes, data storage strategies, and backup/restore procedures.
- Optimize performance for large volumes of metadata, permissions, and audit logs.
- Support DR planning, HA architecture, and resilience testing.
- Provide performance metrics during migration, integration testing, and load testing.
- Partner with architects and developers to optimize queries and troubleshoot issues.
Required Skills:
- RDBMS administration; performance tuning; HA/DR design; large content repository support; secure database practices.
- Success Measures
- Stable and performant databases; successful DR and failover tests; no data integrity issues; readiness for cutover under full workload.
