Job Description



  • GG-12 You will oversee asset management, physical distribution, and material accountability programs, ensuring customer service, accuracy, and reliability.

  • GG-12 You will update and maintains the Remedy asset database, ensuring all records are promptly and accurately captured to maintain the real-time operational status of every asset.
  • GG-12 You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the physical inventory of all assets assigned to site LNSCs as required.
  • GG-12 You will analyzes and extracts complex information from multiple databases to resolve discrepancies, respond to high level inquiries, provide status updates, and validate data integrity.

  • You will coordinates and leads segments of physical inventories, performs Accountability Officer responsibilities, independently conducts causative research for common discrepancies.

Grade 09: Employee must possess experience conducting physical inventories, processing data entry and accountability transactions, processing receipts, issues, and transfers, maintaining inventory records, utilizing automated supply systems, and assisting with discrepancy research and inventory reconciliation functions..
This position is within the Professional Work Category At Full Performance Work Level I. Series and Grade GG-9.

Grade 11: Employee must possess experience conducting causative research, resolving inventory discrepancies, supporting accountable property officer functions or equivalent accountability programs, independently managing segments of inventory, applying supply regulations and policy, and performing reconciliation and audit support using automated inventory management systems.
This position is within the Professional Work Category At Full Performance Work Level II. Series and Grade GG-11.

Grade 12: Employee must possess experience conducting complex supply and inventory analysis, lifecycle asset management, independent decision-making, policy interpretation, and enterprise-level accountability functions. Employee must be capable of coordinating across organizations, advising leadership on inventory and accountability matters, resolving complex discrepancies, and utilizing automated inventory management systems with minimal supervision.
This position is within the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level II. Series and Grade GG-12.

This position is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1599f.

In accordance with DoDI 1400.25, Volume 3005, Section 3.15, all employees newly appointed to a CES position will serve a 3-year probationary period. Permanent and term employees currently serving in a probationary period in the competitive service or a probationary or trial period in the excepted service will complete the period as prescribed in their original conditions of employment in the new CES position if they transfer without a break in service or are promoted, demoted, or reassigned to a CES position.

A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.

Tour of duty will be 36 MONTHS.

Commute area is defined as the geographic area surrounding the duty location in which people can reasonably be expected to travel back and forth.

The Cyber Interagency Transfer Authority (CITA) permits movement of CES employees appointed under Section 1599f of Title 10 U.S.C. and excepted service employees appointed under Schedule A, Section 213.3106(b)(11) of Title 5 CFR, into cyber workforce positions in the competitive service and movement of competitive service employees into DoD Cyber Workforce positions within the Military Departments and Defense Agencies.
