Management Analyst I / Project Analyst II

*This position requires an active Top Secret /SCI clearance to be considered*

The Management Specialist Analyst I/ Project Analyst II provides executive-level administrative and operational support to the ACN/CDT Director and staff. This position is responsible for improving the efficiency of administrative support operations by evaluating office procedures, recommending process improvements, coordinating executive office activities, and supporting leadership initiatives. The role serves as a primary liaison for administrative operations while providing analytical support, office management, travel coordination, correspondence preparation, and assistance with special projects within a fast-paced federal environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $70,000 - $79,246

Pay commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities Include
  • Provide executive-level administrative support to the ACN/CDT Director and staff.
  • Advise leadership on administrative tools and methods to improve office efficiency.
  • Evaluate administrative support systems, including records management, communications, forms, files, and documentation.
  • Develop and implement new or modified administrative procedures and methodologies.
  • Conduct management surveys to ensure compliance with agency regulations, policies, procedures, and sound management practices.
  • Manage daily office operations and administrative activities.
  • Prepare reports, memoranda, correspondence, presentations, and other official documentation.
  • Coordinate and arrange official government travel utilizing E2 Solutions when applicable.
  • Compile data, maintain office records, and update documentation.
  • Research and maintain organizational telephone directories.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Manage executive calendars and office schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with established office security protocols.
  • Operate personal computers, scanners, copiers, fax machines, and other shared office equipment.
  • Receive, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail.
  • Professionally greet and assist visitors.
  • Support special projects, executive initiatives, and organizational actions.
  • Assist with planning, coordinating, developing, and implementing operational policies and procedures.
  • Gather information and prepare responses to leadership requests.
  • Provide administrative support to Bureau Front Offices as needed.
  • Enter information into databases and maintain accurate records.
  • Interface professionally with Bureau Principals and Department leadership.
  • Support internal and external audit requests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Experience, Education, Skills, & Abilities Requested
  • Minimum of 2 years of executive-level administrative support experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience performing program and operational analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform analytical work within an office environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with senior Department officials and executives.
  • Experience coordinating executive calendars, meetings, correspondence, and travel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment.
  • Experience maintaining records, databases, and administrative documentation.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance required.
  • Must successfully pass all Cherokee Federal pre-employment requirements.
