Job Description
Sr. Technical Program Manager
Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Sr. Technical PM to join our Client's team.
As a Sr. Technical PM, the resource is responsible for delivery of assigned projects (3-5 projects). This role will support projects across enterprise data warehouse, data lake, and analytics programs, and other cloud-based SaaS solutions - ensuring delivery of approved scope within basedlined schedule. Timelines will be somewhat agressive so strong scope and schedule management will be required for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute projects on the roadmap as assigned.
- Drive cross-functional teams involving IT, business and 3rd-party technology and consulting firms to make timely decisions, and participate in the project sessions as needed.
- Follow governance processes to ensure high cross-team and executive communication with the Program Executive and the PMO Executive along with clear identification of project progress and issues requiring attention.
-Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and escalate in a timely fashion.
Professional Experience
- 10+ years of IT leadership experience
- 5+ years managing large complet projects with multiple stakeholders and demonstrated successful results.
Professional Skills
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and managing enterprise-scale technology programs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong vendor and partner management capabilities.
- Background in EDW and application integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Azure Data Factory, etc.).
- Experience with project management tools such as MS project, JIRA.
Preferred Skills
- Discrete manufacturing experience.
- Data Lake, Data warehouse experience.
Commute/Travel
Remote Position - ideally in east coast or central time zones.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
