Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Piper Companies is seeking an to join a large-scale technology modernization initiative within the financial services industry. The will play a key role in enhancing enterprise data platforms, improving application performance, and supporting the development of next-generation analytics and recovery solutions. • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL solutions supporting enterprise financial platforms and data services.
• Analyze and optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and code enhancements.
• Develop and support ETL and batch processing solutions to ensure accurate and efficient data movement.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders on platform modernization and expansion initiatives.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes, automated deployments, and overall development best practices.

• 6+ years of experience developing applications and database solutions using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Strong expertise in SQL development, database optimization, and performance tuning methodologies.
• Hands-on experience designing and supporting ETL workflows and large-scale batch processing environments.
• Experience working within CI/CD pipelines and modern software development life cycles.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex data and application issues in high-volume enterprise environments.
