Job Description
NineFX is seeking a highly skilled and driven Photogrammetrist to play a critical role in product evaluation, quality assurance, and new product integration. The successful candidate will contribute to advanced sensor analysis, system performance studies, and national‑level geospatial intelligence assessments.
Responsibilities include:
• Modeling sensors and decomposing product formation elements to evaluate end‑to‑end image chain quality
• Conducting precise geolocation and mensuration accuracy assessments
• Modeling geometric collection processes to determine exact ground-to-pixel relationships
• Supporting engineering analyses for National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) evaluations
• Executing baseline performance assessments for sensor initialization and calibration
• Monitoring and documenting system performance trends over time
• Identifying root causes of detected anomalies and recommending corrective actions
Required Experience / Education:
• Active TS required; must upgrade to TS/SCI and poly in 30 days of hire or upon customer request
• 10+ years of imagery or imagery platform experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Photogrammetry, Image Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline
• Hands-on experience with ARC GIS, SOCET GXP, QT Modeler, Active Earthscape, ERDAS Imagine, or Remote View
• Demonstrated experience in geolocation and mensuration assessment
• Applied knowledge of imaging sensors, image products, and exploitation workflows
• Understanding of systems engineering lifecycles, independent testing methods, and data verification practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief technical concepts and develop detailed test plans and reports
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Proven history of problem-solving, adaptability, and delivering high-quality results
Preferred Skillset:
• Familiarity with image quality standards, scales, and metrics
• Experience with DPPDB, CIB, and CI Ortho products
• Background in image processing or digital signal processing
• Knowledge of NSG TCPED image chain components and workflows
• Experience with the Mensuration Services Program (MSP)
• ASPRS membership or professional certification
• Experience within DoD or IC operational, technical, or R&D environments
• Ability to develop engineering code (C, Python, Matlab, IDL) to solve complex problems and build repeatable processes
