Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph within 7 years to be considered.
Summary:
• Seeking a highly experienced Systems Engineer to support end-to-end data flows and requirements analysis.
• Utilize modern tools including Jira, Confluence, and NiFi within an agile development environment.
• Apply expertise in SIGINT architectures and project management to guide complex systems through their lifecycle.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 15+ years
• Total Compensation: $290k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Apply systems engineering principles across all lifecycle phases from concept to retirement.
• Manage technical integrity, quality, and completeness of deliverables across ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.
• Define stakeholder requirements, perform architectural design, and oversee system integration and validation.
• Facilitate project planning, risk management, configuration management, and decision management.
• Collaborate with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives on technical considerations.
• Leverage key skills in NiFi, JIRA, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies to optimize dataflows.
Required Skills:
• Ability to form good relationships with customers and mission partners
• Reach out to external customers for requirements and understanding of the data and the data needs of the users
• Ability to critically think through complex data flow problems, break down effort into manageable tasks, and create/maintain scope out of sometimes vague customer requirements.
• Good working skills with Atlassian products such as Confluence and Jira
• Good understanding of data processing capabilities
• Understands system-to-system connections for data flow processes
• Basic understanding of NiFi, should understand flow file attributes or be able to learn it quickly
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Electronic Warfare operations, sensors and related data
• Familiar with data formats such as CSV, JSON, PCAP and XML
• Understanding of tactical datalinks and command and control signals
• Understanding of data architectures
• Experience with Intelligence Community
• Experience with DoD Service Intelligence Centers
• Understanding of DoD - command structures and relationships
