Position Overview
Spiral Solutions & Technologies, Inc. (SS&T) is seeking a Joint Training Program Manager to support the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Organizational Development and Innovation Division (J14).
The Joint Training Program Manager supports command-wide joint training, education, professional development, and organizational development programs and processes. This position provides program management and lesson plan development, analysis, improvement, and assessment support using appropriate pedagogical methods in support of USSTRATCOM joint training, education, and professional development products, courses, and related initiatives.
Security Clearance Requirements
This position supports classified programs and requires access to classified systems and material. All contractor personnel must be United States citizens and possess a Top-Secret clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information, Nuclear Command and Control/Extremely Sensitive Information, and Special Access Program access prior to commencing work.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide program management and lesson plan development, analysis, improvement, and assessment using appropriate pedagogical methods, including analyze, design, develop, coordinate, administer, manage, and evaluate activities supporting USSTRATCOM joint training, education, and professional development products and courses.
• Maintain currency of USSTRATCOM joint training, education, and professional development products and courses and incorporate updates into appropriate training databases.
• Plan, prepare, maintain, update, and execute command integrated missions and joint operations training and orientation events, including onboarding acculturation sessions and onboarding process management.
• Plan, prepare, maintain, update, and execute command joint training and education programs, including the Senior Civilian/Military Development Program, the Strategic Leadership Fellows Program, and the Strategic Deterrence Education Program.
• Plan, prepare, maintain, update, and execute command-wide joint training and education programs, including on-site courses, lectures, and subject matter expert-facilitated discussions led by internal and external speakers.
• Support joint training and education program activities that address identified training needs.
• Maintain manual and electronic files and records associated with program execution.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and seminars to convey and gather information required to perform assigned functions.
• Prepare written materials for documenting activities, providing written reference, and conveying program information.
• Research courses, materials, and related information to support development of new programs that meet joint training needs.
• Respond to inquiries for the purpose of resolving problems, providing information, and referring matters to appropriate personnel.
• Support division training strategies through analysis of student training needs, identification of training target audiences, and identification of appropriate training solutions.
• Promote dissemination of training opportunities and organizationally relevant information through multimedia channels to enhance employee awareness and encourage broad interest.
Required Qualifications
• At least 3 years of experience with program management and lesson plan development, analysis, improvement, and assessment using appropriate pedagogical methods.
• Demonstrated relevant experience supporting organizational development and joint training functions, including:
o Program management and lesson plan development, analysis, improvement, and assessment using appropriate pedagogical methods
o Maintaining training and education products and databases
o Planning and executing onboarding, joint training, and professional development programs
o Supporting training-needs analysis and audience identification
o Maintaining program records
o Preparing written materials
o Conducting research for new training initiatives
o Supporting meetings, workshops, seminars, and related stakeholder coordination
• U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting command-level joint training, education, professional development, or onboarding programs.
• Experience developing lesson plans, educational materials, and program documentation for military or government audiences.
• Experience supporting training databases, records management, workshops, seminars, and stakeholder coordination.
