Job Description
VTC LEAD
Works under general supervision, developing the requirements of a product/project from inception to conclusion. Develops required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems. Leads and coordinates with the Vendor PM, Government PMO to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters. Works independently as a VTC Lead performing as shift lead duties for first, second, or third shifts, providing guidance and direction to VTC admins on the same shift in the VOC, VTC Operations Center. Performs duties of VTC administrator while performing duties of junior engineer and/or VTC Lead.
Minimum Experience:
• Two to Five (5) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience including at least two
projects in technical areas, including networking and/or Cisco Video Tele-Conferencing. At least one
project must have occurred within the past three (3) years. Additional experience in the Video Teleconferencing arena, including deployment, troubleshooting, and supporting VTCs in a dynamic
environment.
• Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written; must be able to provide leadership for
other VTC Administrators and training for new VTC Administrators.
Security/Certification Requirements: Sensitivity Level: IT-I – Critical Sensitive - Clearance: Secret
DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II - candidate must posses one of the following certifications: CCNA Security, CYSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP
Computing Environment: Cisco CLTECH - Cisco Certified Technician Supporting Cisco Collaboration Devices
