Job Description
Blue Rose Consulting Group is a mission-driven professional services firm dedicated to delivering exceptional support to federal agencies and the communities they serve. We provide innovative solutions in behavioral health, program management, technology, and professional services, always guided by our commitment to People First. Mission Always.
We are proud to support programs that make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals, families, and communities across the country.
Location: Big Bend Region, Texas (Onsite | PRN / On-Demand)
Wide-open skies. Untamed beauty. Flexible work with purpose.
Looking for meaningful work without the commitment of a full-time schedule? Whether you're growing a private practice, looking for supplemental income, easing into retirement, or simply seeking greater flexibility, Blue Rose has an opportunity that fits your lifestyle.
Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking compassionate, independently licensed Behavioral Health Therapists to join our PRN/On-Demand team supporting unaccompanied minors in a residential care setting in the breathtaking Big Bend region of Texas.
As a PRN clinician, you'll step in when your expertise is needed most, providing trauma-informed behavioral health services while maintaining the flexibility to choose opportunities that fit your schedule. Every shift gives you the opportunity to help children who have overcome incredible challenges begin to heal, regain hope, and build brighter futures.
If you're looking for wide-open spaces, stunning desert landscapes, mountain views, and some of the darkest night skies in the country, Big Bend offers a one-of-a-kind lifestyle. From hiking and camping to scenic drives and unforgettable sunsets, this is Texas at its most adventurous.
Licensed in another state? Great! We welcome independently licensed clinicians from all 50 states and U.S. territories.
This is an onsite PRN/On-Demand position supporting a critical federal program.
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
- Provide trauma-informed individual counseling and crisis intervention services.
- Conduct behavioral health assessments and ongoing clinical evaluations.
- Develop treatment recommendations and individualized care plans.
- Help children build resilience, confidence, and healthy coping skills.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care.
- Maintain timely clinical documentation and participate in treatment planning.
- Provide coverage for scheduled shifts, vacations, call-outs, or periods of increased program demand.
- Advocate for the safety, well-being, and success of every child in your care.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
- Active, unrestricted independent clinical license in any U.S. state or U.S. territory (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or equivalent).
- Minimum of two years of post-independent licensure experience.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, families, or other vulnerable populations.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work onsite in the Big Bend region of Texas on an as-needed basis.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Experience with unaccompanied minors, foster care, refugee populations, residential treatment, or child welfare.
- Experience in crisis response or high-acuity behavioral health settings.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
- Flexible availability to support varying program needs.
At Blue Rose, you'll find more than a PRN position. You'll discover meaningful work that fits your schedule while allowing you to make a tangible difference every time you walk through the door.
We offer:
- The flexibility to choose PRN shifts that work with your schedule.
- The opportunity to live and work in one of the most unique and scenic regions in Texas, surrounded by mountains, desert landscapes, and endless outdoor adventure.
- Texas has no state income tax, allowing you to keep more of what you earn.
- We welcome clinicians licensed anywhere in the United States, making relocation easier than ever.
- Meaningful, mission-driven work supporting children during some of the most important moments of their lives.
- A collaborative team that values compassion, innovation, and service.
- Opportunities to transition into full-time opportunities as they become available.
- The chance to go home after every shift knowing your work truly changed someone's future.
If you're looking for the flexibility of PRN work without sacrificing purpose, we'd love to meet you.
Join Blue Rose Consulting Group and help us create brighter futures...one child, one family, and one life at a time.
