Big skies. Endless sunshine. A career with purpose.
Some careers change your resume. Others change lives.
Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking compassionate, independently licensed Behavioral Health Therapists to provide trauma-informed mental health services to unaccompanied minors in a residential care setting in El Centro, California, where you'll enjoy over 300 days of sunshine each year and become part of a close-knit community making a lasting impact.
Every day brings the opportunity to help children who have overcome incredible challenges begin to heal, regain hope, and build brighter futures. You'll work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team committed to providing exceptional care while supporting one of our nation's most vulnerable populations.
Looking for a quieter pace of life without sacrificing meaningful work? El Centro offers affordable living, easy access to San Diego, Palm Springs, the mountains, and Arizona, all while enjoying the warm California sunshine year-round.
Licensed in another state? Great! We welcome independently licensed clinicians from all 50 states and U.S. territories.
This is a full-time, onsite position supporting a critical federal program.
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
- Provide trauma-informed individual counseling and crisis intervention services.
- Conduct behavioral health assessments and ongoing clinical evaluations.
- Develop treatment recommendations and individualized care plans.
- Help children build resilience, confidence, and healthy coping skills.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care.
- Maintain timely clinical documentation and participate in treatment planning.
- Advocate for the safety, well-being, and success of every child in your care.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
- Active, unrestricted independent clinical license in any U.S. state or U.S. territory (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or equivalent).
- Minimum of two years of post-independent licensure experience.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, families, or other vulnerable populations.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work onsite in El Centro, California.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Experience with unaccompanied minors, foster care, refugee populations, residential treatment, or child welfare.
- Experience in crisis response or high-acuity behavioral health settings.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
At Blue Rose, you'll find more than a job. You'll discover a career with purpose, a team that believes in your mission, and an opportunity to make a tangible difference every single day.
We offer:
- The opportunity to live and work in sunny Southern California while enjoying a lower cost of living than many larger California cities.
- Over 300 days of sunshine each year and easy access to San Diego, Palm Springs, hiking, off-road recreation, and weekend getaways throughout Southern California and Arizona.
- We welcome clinicians licensed anywhere in the United States, making relocation easier than ever.
- California licensure assistance, including reimbursement of applicable licensing fees.
- Meaningful, mission-driven work supporting children during some of the most important moments of their lives.
- A collaborative team that values compassion, innovation, and service.
- Opportunities for professional growth and continued career development.
- The chance to go home every day knowing your work truly changed someone's future.
If you're ready to trade the ordinary for a career filled with purpose, sunshine, and impact, we'd love to meet you.
