Position Overview:
The Knowledge Manager plays a critical role in aligning processes and technology to support the sharing of core and foundational Analytic Enterprise policy documents. This position supports by overseeing knowledge management systems and ensuring compliance with enterprise-wide policies. The Knowledge Manager facilitates the collection, organization, and dissemination of information across multiple networks and portals, optimizing knowledge access, collaboration, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic Knowledge Management (KM) support, ensuring alignment with enterprise directives and data governance policies.
- Manage the existing KM site (currently SharePoint), including the integration of external capabilities and data feeds to enhance usability and performance.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to access permissions, pre-release testing, and end-user feedback.
- Support Senior Defense Intelligence Officers with All Source Analysis by managing visualizations and organizing critical data such as meetings, engagements, and reporting metrics.
- Post, edit, distribute, and maintain appropriate content for both classified and unclassified platforms, portals, and calendars.
- Develop consistent, repeatable processes for collecting, consolidating, and preparing written responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) or internal inquiries from leadership.
- Ensure all KM records are created and maintained in compliance with DoD Records Management policies and directives.
- Organize data, define file structures, and ensure accessible storage of information for user communities.
- Develop and periodically test Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) to coordinate information flow and support operational exercises.
- Integrate knowledge across departments to facilitate information sharing and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Train and educate front-end users on KM tools and best practices.
- Develop written content, generate reports, and deliver presentations to senior leadership to support enhancements and new initiatives.
- Monitor solution benefits and performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement and process automation.
- Provide support for analytical needs and backup functions across various positions.
- Work across business units to support communication of complex topics and initiatives.
- Support information dissemination, Data Transfer Officer (DTO) activities, and disclosure processes.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of applicable experience with Bachelor's degree; OR 6+ years of applicable experience with a Master's degree; OR 3+ years of applicable experience with a PhD.
- TS/SCI clearance with ability to pass a poly
- Proven experience in Knowledge Management, preferably within a defense or intelligence environment.
- Strong understanding of KM systems (e.g., SharePoint), data integration, and DoD Records Management policies.
- Ability to develop and communicate structured processes and technical solutions.
- Experience in training, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
