Some of the most complex and consequential intelligence targets in the world operate in space - and in the cyber domain that supports it. Peraton is looking for a Senior All-Source Analyst with Hard Target expertise to bring that specialized focus to USCYBERCOM J2 at Fort Meade, MD.
Building on a strong all-source analytic foundation, you'll leverage SIGINT production tools and capabilities to identify, develop, and characterize cyber threats with emphasis on Space and Counterspace priorities. You'll integrate across the all-source analytic enterprise, produce GO/FO-level briefings, and deliver intelligence products that directly shape USCYBERCOM's understanding of the most technically sophisticated adversary capabilities. - Conduct all-source analysis from multiple intelligence disciplines to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain national security issues and cyber threats
- Research and analyze selectors of interest utilizing SIGINT production tools and capabilities
- Identify, develop, and characterize cyber threats through analysis and exploitation of SIGINT information
- Support Hard Target initiatives with emphasis on Space and Counterspace priorities in accordance with DoD and Presidential directives
- Integrate with the all-source analytic enterprise to deliver operational outcomes by leveraging SIGINT tools and databases
- Produce finished intelligence products adhering to ICD 203 analytic standards, requiring minimal corrections from DIA analytic reviewers
- Provide all-source JIPOE support to offensive and defensive cyber operations (OCO/DCO) planning and develop cyber-related intelligence estimates
- Develop and present intelligence briefings to USCYBERCOM staff up to General Officer/Flag Officer (GO/FO) level
- Establish and maintain communications with IC counterparts, USCYBERCOM service components, and partner organizations
- Respond promptly to J2 and USCYBERCOM staff Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Author and maintain Operating Instructions (OIs) for Command-wide programs and initiatives
Required:
- Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance with Polygraph
- Minimum of 12 years w/o a degree or 10 years with AS/ AA or 8 years with BS/BA or 6 years with MS/MA or 3 years with PhD
- Working knowledge of all-source analytic concepts, SIGINT analysis, IC/DoD classification guidelines, and structured analytic techniques
- Demonstrated ability to produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports, assessments, and briefing materials in Microsoft Office formats
- Proficiency evaluating and synthesizing multiple sources of information, recognizing nuances and resolving contradictions
- Understanding of intelligence collection capabilities and limitations across technical sensors and HUMINT sources
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated grammar proficiency
- Experience with SIGINT production tools and databases in a hard target or cyber intelligence context
- Background in Hard Target analysis, Space/Counterspace intelligence, or advanced cyber threat characterization
- Experience with: Tripwire, Intellipedia, Palantir, MIDB, CyberCOP, Microsoft OneNote
- Familiarity with: Target Knowledge Base, Cyber Threat Matrix, AMHS, WISE, FoxTrail, CENTAUR, ispace, Pathfinder
- Experience producing products in accordance with ICD 203, 206, 208, and 209 standards
- 12+ years of relevant experience, including work within the last 2 years
- Master's degree in a related field - or a Bachelor's degree plus 5 additional years of senior-level experience (17 years total)
- DoD Directive 8570.01 IAT Level 1 or IAM Level 1 certification
Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
