Job Description
is seeking a to support a contract with the Department of Energy and the National Nuclear Security Agency OCIO. The NNSA has multiple offices and facilities across the United States, with this position being in their . headquarters. These offices and facilities are responsible for various aspects of nuclear security, including stockpile management, nonproliferation, and nuclear security.
• Lead and implement Configuration Management (CM) practices across the full system lifecycle, from requirements through system retirement.
• Analyze, evaluate, and recommend configuration management tools; oversee their implementation and ongoing maintenance.
• Establish and maintain configuration baselines and manage change control processes, including audits and compliance.
• Chair Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings and ensure proper review, approval, and tracking of all changes.
• Oversee software release management, including version control, packaging, deployment coordination, and release integrity across environments.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive configuration management plans and documentation, ensuring traceability, compliance, and accessibility.
• 10+ years of experience in Configuration Management
• Experience with Configuration Management principles and practices
• Familiarity with managing technical baseline configurations in enterprise environments
• Understanding of Continuity of Operations (COOP) concepts and system resilience
• Working knowledge of version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with CM tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
• Top Secret Clearance
• 155,000-165,000 (depending on experience)
