Job Description
Join the high-caliber full-stack engineering team at Neural Solutions, based in Columbia, MD, as a developer who thrives in rapid development and deployment environments. This role focuses on swiftly designing and deploying new capabilities under tight deadlines to support mission success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop end-to-end full-stack solutions including user interfaces, REST middleware, databases, and analytics to support the team’s mission.
- Automate opportunities and capabilities for seamless integration with advanced security operations and its partners.
- Maintain and update existing front-end interfaces using JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, and jQuery, preparing to migrate future front-ends to modern UI libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.
- Optimize backends using Python, Asyncio, and Pandas, with occasional updates to legacy Java Map/Reduce and GHOSTMACHINE analytics.
- Manage and deploy services within existing infrastructure environments using MACHINESHOP, Docker, Nginx, and GitLab CI/CD, planning expansions into C2S and HCI.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Opencode to accelerate code delivery and enhance team velocity.
Required Skills:
- Experience with software development on NSANet, including familiarity with MACHINESHOP, C2S, or GHOSTMACHINE environments.
- Production-grade software development experience in Python and JavaScript to build robust full-stack architectures.
- Knowledge of developing user interfaces, REST middleware, databases, and analytics within a cross-functional team framework.
- Demonstrated experience with collaborative development workflows and teamwork.
- Familiarity with git-based version control systems and continuous integration pipelines.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working within advanced security operations, specifically with automation platforms like ATPG or TURBINE/ASGARD.
- Customization of AI-assisted development tools through advanced configurations such as Skills and Memory.
- Familiarity with modern UI libraries (React, Angular, Vue) and cloud-based hosting environments like AWS.
- Infrastructure expansion experience using C2S, HCI, Docker, Nginx, and GitLab CI/CD.
Experience Required: 12 years with a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or 16 years without a degree
