Chipton-Ross is seeking 6 Systems Engineer 3's for a contract opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK.
Able to provide organization to issues.
Planning tasks and developing plans.
Systems engineering processes.
Generalist knowledge of aircraft systems.
Communication skills to help others see the plans.
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.
B-52 CERP is an engine replacement program. Client Oklahoma City is in charge of implementing a new engine and systems involved with an engine. This means adapting 2020 engine technology into a 1950s airplane architecture. The engine on the aircraft not only provides thrust but Bleed air to provide cooling to the aircraft, hydraulic power to move large surfaces, electrical power for the electronics. The controls for that engine will be in the cockpit.
(6) AIO (Aircraft Integration Office) System Engineers. They are the firefighters of the organization. Usually reporting to the Chief Engineer, they work with the team to provide plans to solve problems that the chief engineer sees.
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.
Full-Time/First Shift
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.
OT / DOT expected.
