The best intelligence systems don't just store information - they move it to the right people, at the right time, across the right networks. Peraton is looking for a Knowledge Manager specializing in Requirement Analysis to help USCYBERCOM J2 build and sustain the information-sharing infrastructure that keeps analysts connected and mission-ready at Fort Meade, MD.

In this role, you'll be the voice of the user in the systems development process - capturing requirements, modeling data flows, resolving design challenges, and ensuring that every system built actually solves the problem it was designed to solve. Your work will directly shape how USCYBERCOM J2 shares, protects, and disseminates intelligence across classification domains.

  • Align processes and technology to enable seamless information sharing across analysts and organizations within USCYBERCOM J2
  • Leverage centralized and peripheral databases, content management systems, and records management systems to support mission requirements
  • Develop information system requirements aligned with DoD and IC system architecture standards
  • Capture and update user and functional system requirements through user interviews, system reviews, and process assessments
  • Support creation of logical data models based on functional requirements; develop use cases for new applications
  • Interface directly with users to define problems, assess data availability, validate requirements, and resolve system design issues
  • Administer cross-domain data transfer activities (Low-to-High, High-to-Low, Secret) and ensure proper logging and compliance
  • Manage and track Government Laptops, CAC Readers, and peripherals for USCYBERCOM J2 personnel
  • Coordinate and participate in all KM-related meetings and working groups; maintain and update requirements documentation
  • Author and maintain Operating Instructions (OIs) for Command-wide programs and initiatives

Required:
  • Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance
  • Minimum of 12 years w/o a degree or 10 years with AS/AA or 8 years with BS/BA or 6 years with MS/MA or 3 years with PhD
  • Working knowledge of knowledge management concepts, information system requirements development, and IC/DoD classification guidelines
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a KM team in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and structured analytic techniques
  • Understanding of centralized and peripheral databases, content management systems, and records management systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills - able to translate user needs into clear, actionable system requirements
Preferred:
  • Experience with DoD and IC system architecture standards and logical data modeling
  • Background in information system requirements development or business process analysis
  • Familiarity with cross-domain data transfer systems and security compliance procedures
  • Experience with SharePoint, content management systems, or records management platforms
  • Knowledge of USCYBERCOM J2 knowledge management infrastructure and intelligence dissemination systems
  • 12+ years of relevant experience, including work within the last 2 years
  • Master's degree in a related field - or a Bachelor's degree plus 5 additional years of senior-level experience (17 years total)
Peraton drives missions of consequence - protecting and promoting U.S. national security at the highest levels.
