<strong>The Ascendancy Group’s Mission</strong><br>To be the unequaled provider of special operations forces (SOF) and Intelligence Community focused technical, service, and training-based solutions.<br><br><strong>Overview</strong><br><br>As a Transportation Specialist, you will provide critical transportation and logistics support for Naval Special Warfare Group One (NSWG-1) operations at forward-deployed locations in Guam and Bahrain. This position is responsible for coordinating the safe, timely, and efficient movement of personnel, equipment, and materials in support of mission readiness and sustainment. Working in a dynamic operational environment, the Transportation Specialist ensures transportation services comply with established policies and performance standards while supporting the reception, staging, onward movement, and integration of deployed forces.<br><br><strong>Security Requirement:</strong><br><ul><li>Possess an active SECRET security clearance.</li></ul><br><br><strong>Roles and Responsibilities:</strong><br><ul><li>Coordinate and manage all passenger, cargo, and equipment transportation requirements for NSWG-1 Detachment Bahrain/TF-3 and deployed personnel by working closely with USTRANSCOM, AMC, CENTCOM, SOCCENT, NAVCENT, COMFIFTHFLT, MSC, SDDC, DDC, and other DoD and government agencies to ensure timely mission execution.</li><li>Plan, schedule, and oversee strategic airlift, sealift, and ground transportation supporting deployments, redeployments, exercises, training events, contingency operations, counter-drug missions, JCET, and other operational requirements throughout the CENTCOM area of responsibility.</li><li>Ensure personnel and equipment deployments meet Required Delivery Dates (RDD) established by Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), USCENTCOM deployment orders, and NSW leadership by coordinating military and commercial transportation assets.</li><li>Utilize Department of Defense transportation systems, including Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD), to accurately process, track, and manage passenger and cargo movement requirements.</li><li>Coordinate and execute hazardous materials transportation by land, sea, and air in compliance with Department of Transportation (49 CFR), International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code, International Air Transport Association (IATA) Dangerous Goods Regulations, and applicable U.S. military requirements.</li><li>Coordinate personnel, cargo, and equipment movements to ensure CONUS, OCONUS, and forward-deployed Naval Special Warfare forces meet deployment, redeployment, training, and operational timelines required to maintain mission and combat readiness.</li><li>Manage theater and country clearance requirements by preparing and submitting APACS requests, coordinating with U.S. Embassies, Defense Attachés, SOCCENT, Fleet Commanders, and other government agencies, and ensuring compliance with the DoD Foreign Clearance Guide and applicable operational directives. Review and approve Travel Tracker/Individual Anti-Terrorism Plans (TT/IATP) as required.</li><li>Coordinate strategic and tactical airlift, sealift, and ground transportation in support of exercises, contingency operations, and training events, including scheduling military and commercial transportation assets and tracking movements using JOPES, TPFDD, and the Single Mobility System (SMS).</li><li>Prepare, maintain, and distribute deployment reports while entering, validating, retrieving, and analyzing data across multiple databases to support transportation planning, customer inquiries, operational reporting, and program performance.</li><li>Research and resolve transportation, supply, and data discrepancies; analyze trends and transaction errors; recommend process improvements; and coordinate with appropriate Government personnel to resolve complex issues.</li><li>Ensure hazardous materials, hazardous waste, and recyclable materials are handled, transported, labeled, stored, and disposed of in accordance with applicable environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Obtain required sponsorship documentation and visas for temporary travel to mission-essential locations in support of contract performance.</li><li>Research problems surfaced by customers; resolve issues or route to appropriate Government personnel with information setting forth research findings.</li><li>Conduct extensive searches for information pertaining to complex and/or unusual supply transactions and patterns; assemble retrieved information into different formats to meet different requirements; for example, status reports, unmet customer needs, and other similar areas.</li><li>Analyze the results of applying guidelines to difficult situations and recommend changes.</li><li>Review existing automated system(s) to determine feasibility for improvement.</li></ul><br><br><strong>Requirements</strong><br><br><strong>Position Requirements:</strong><br><ul><li>Be a U.S. Citizen who possesses a current and valid U.S. passport and maintain a valid U.S. passport for the entire period of performance of the contract.</li><li>Have a minimum of 5 years of direct experience of knowledge, and processes associated with air mobility and transportation management.</li><li>Possess a Commercial Driver’s License</li><li>Possess a valid state driver’s license.</li><li>Be able to operate a Personal Computer (PC) with common/standard business software programs. Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li><li>Have direct knowledge of installation level and strategic support logistic programs and systems that relate to logistic capability and capacity.</li><li>Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Pay strong attention to detail and be highly accurate in performing all tasks.</li><li>Perform duties independently, with minimal oversight.</li><li>Be able to write correspondence in a military format, when necessary.</li></ul><br><br>The Ascendancy Group (TAG) was founded on and thrives based on relationships, reputation, and trust.<br><br>We are passionate about everything we do.
