In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the Nation's security and intelligence mission.

In support of DISA, the Intel and Cyber Division is expanding a proven team of highly skilled engineers and architects to support a program that provides critical IT capabilities to the Department of Defense. This team is committed to engineering, assembling, integrating, deploying, and sustaining an innovative IT enterprise solution.

8 Hours per day, Monday through Friday - The selected candidate must be able to work a standard 40-hour work week, and be willing to work overtime during critical peak periods, including accommodating short-notice overtime requests when necessary. This role also requires the ability to travel up to 10% of the time during business hours, with occasional multi-day travel outside the Washington Metropolitan Area as mission and business needs dictate.



The Senior Logistician serves as a logistics subject matter expert, coordinating closely with personnel across multiple functional areas to support mission requirements. Responsibilities include overseeing equipment deliveries and property transfers between government organizations, providing recommendations on logistics best practices, and developing process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, the Logistician acts as a central point of coordination for ongoing operations, ensuring the timely fulfillment of equipment and service requests to meet customer needs and project schedules. Success in this role requires close collaboration with project managers, functional leads, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of assigned tasks and the successful delivery of mission-critical support.



This position operates in a fast-paced professional environment that requires frequent interaction with government personnel, contractors, and customers in both office and warehouse settings. The role may involve local and occasional regional travel to support inventory activities, equipment deliveries, property transfers, and customer engagements. Physical demands include the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, use standard office equipment, and occasionally lift, carry, or move equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds. The position also requires the ability to conduct physical inventories, inspect equipment, and navigate storage facilities and work sites. Mentally, the role demands strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet competing deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing mission requirements. Successful performance requires attention to detail, sound judgment, effective communication, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, mission focused environment.


  • Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in logistics, property accountability, inventory management, supply chain operations, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of government property management principles, practices, and accountability requirements.
  • Experience processing and maintaining property accountability documentation, including DD Forms 1149, 1150, 1348, and other relevant logistics records.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems, asset tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Ability to conduct physical inventories, reconcile records, and maintain accurate asset accountability.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, government personnel, contractors, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize competing requirements, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation, reporting, and property management activities.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing mission requirements, learn new systems and processes, and support evolving operational needs.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required government security clearance.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the National Capital Region (NCR) and other locations as required.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds and perform physical inventory activities in office, storage, and warehouse environments.

  • Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) - National Property Management Association (NPMA).

  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) - APICS/ASCM.
  • Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) - APICS/ASCM.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) - PMI.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
  • Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) - International Society of Logistics (SOLE).
