Job Description

Join a dynamic team working on Canadian Critical National Infrastructure and government classified environments. This role requires bilingual fluency in English and French and the ability to obtain a Canadian Government Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 8+ years of experience in technical support, network engineering, or a technical consulting role.
- Experience in providing 2nd and 3rd Tier consultation/troubleshooting for complex network topologies with mixed media protocols.
- Experience with Data Center Layer 2 overlays like VXLAN, EVPN, and Layer 2 security features such as port security, MACsec, ACL, private VLANs, Layer 3 Overlay Protocols.
- Knowledge in IP internetworking, LAN Switching Protocols, IP Routing protocols, SRV6, QoS, and Multicast.
- Experience with Cisco Nexus products and solutions is highly desirable.
- Experience documenting technical problems and providing written status updates to stakeholders.
- Expert-level certification such as CCIE or equivalent relevant industry certification.
- Proficiency in software skills and automation (e.g., Python, scripting).
- Experience working with Public Sector or high-security clients.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd Tier consultation and troubleshooting for Large Enterprise customers.
- Act as a bridge to internal engineering departments by submitting bug reports and authoring serviceability requirements.
- Produce and share intellectual capital, including technical documentation and training.
- Build shared and reusable lab setups to simulate customer environments.
