• Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a in .


• This position shall provide acquisition engineering production support (material and labor) to support the assembly of cables and sub-assemblies to support the remediation of equipment failures, completion of incomplete assemblies and/or replacement equipment.

• Provide acquisition recommendations based on independent analyses.


• Perform drawing development tasks and technical reviews.


• Perform configuration management (CM) duties for various Technical Data Packages (TDPs).


• Perform quality checks on governments TDPs and drawings.


• Update drawings per government’ redlines to be ready for final release.


• Aid with assembling hardware kits required to implement approved Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) into SSDS hardware enclosures and subassemblies.


• Oversee SSDS production work and monitor progression.


• Perform Material Management duties on all incoming and outgoing materials.


• Perform equipment and systems functional testing in a lab environment. 

• Must have 5 plus years of experience with SSDS, Navy, and/or shipboard systems and a BS degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.


• Must have experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (I.e., Project and Excel).


• Must have experience working with SSDS or shipboard systems.


• Work experience with AutoCAD and/or Inventor Software.

• Must have an Active DoD Secret Security clearance and base access requirements.

• Less than 10%


• If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. • Must be able to work in an office, industrial, or shipboard environment. 


• Be able to lift and move materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one-man lift. 


• Must be able to perform site surveys and carry a laptop computer.
