Inside Sales Representative I

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative I to join a dynamic team supporting strategic customer accounts in Waco, TX!

Note: This is NOT a contract-to-hire opportunity.


Initial Training Schedule:

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Upon Training Completion:

• 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or
• 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

• Provide exceptional customer service and support to an established customer base
• Manage key strategic customer accounts and maintain strong business relationships
• Handle high-volume customer interactions via phone and email
• Generate customer quotes for pricing and delivery
• Process sales orders and purchase orders
• Manage order entry, inventory levels, stock management, and re-order requirements
• Review daily account activity, order status, and stocking levels
• Forecast revenue and gross profit for assigned accounts
• Determine material requirements based on customer specifications
• Obtain vendor quotes for materials and outsourced processing
• Coordinate with Outside Sales and Management teams
• Follow up with customers regarding order status and deliveries
• Handle customer returns, credits, and complaint resolution
• Maintain paper and digital account records
• Periodically visit customers to strengthen business relationships

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in:
  • Inside Sales and/or
  • Customer Service
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent customer communication and multitasking abilities

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
• Experience in metals, manufacturing, or distribution environments
• SAP experience
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
