Sr Acquisitions Specialist

KBR's Intel Division is seeking a uniquely experienced Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Chantilly, VA providing skilled support to the highest levels of our IC customers leadership.
- This Senior Acquisition Specialist will provide Acquisition support to senior government executives.
- Vested experience in space and ground Acquisition Office(s) with Major System Acquisitions (MSA), Special Interest Acquisitions (SIA), and Experimental Research Demonstrations (ERD).
- Expert knowledge of enterprise architectures and missions, Acquisition, IC Mission Partner interfaces, DoW (A&S) and Oversight roles and interactions, launch, etc.
- Technical and management experience/knowledge in space and ground acquisition programs and processes, especially with respect to major milestone review planning and execution such as Acquisition Review Boards (ARB), Acquisition Boards, National Intelligence Acquisition Boards (NIAB) with Oversight with supporting artifacts (VAR, IPA, ICE, etc). Knowledge and experience planning and executing MSAs, SIAs, and ERDs in accordance with customer directives.
- Reviews highly technical Program Office data packages and writes executive summaries for Director, Corporate Secretariat (CS) to pre-brief program materials, status, issues, and actions to leadership.
- Space acquisition experience with knowledge of interfaces between the customer and various IC and DoW mission partners and preferably experience with Acquisition Oversight processes.
- Must have executive-level communication skills and be a self-starter. Will directly support Customer senior officials, and acquisition Program Manager executive reviews and must be able to write executive summaries and actions in a technically accurate, concise, accurate manner.
- Can very comfortably brief and/or capture content at the executive levels (Government Directors, agency heads, Sec Def, CEO's, etc).
- Must have excellent meeting/note taking/presentation skills.
- Experience with executive level protocol procedures, and will work closely with Protocol Office for DV parking, seating charts, 1-on-1 office calls, etc.
- Experience with TIER action tasking/tracking system. Executes many TIER actions in support of major acquisition review planning. D&O Director's Action Group (DAG) experience is a plus.
- Must be able to work independently and anticipate/resolve issues in a high-visibility, dynamic, constantly changing environment. Must be able to reprioritize tasks frequently, be in alignment with Government priorities, and deliver. Must be able to meet short suspense timelines.

- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, STEM or related
- 15+ years of related experience with Masters. 17+ with Bachelors
- Management level military or acquisition experience preferred, specifically DAWIA Level III in Program Management.
- Experience to support the Office of the Director (ODIR) preparations for acquisition forums such as Joint Intelligence Acquisition Boards (JIAB), Advisory Boards, ASCs, Program Status Reviews (PSRs), and other forums
- Experience applying subject matter and administrative expertise in reviewing and updating acquisition policy, planning, and processes in support of the customer's Corporate Secretariat
- Experience to coordinate, analyze, recommend, and provide responses to acquisition related or program IG reports.
- Experience to coordinate responses to internal and external inquiries/forums pertaining to acquisition policy, processes, strategies, and issues.

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance
