IT Cloud Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a to support a federal organization focused on delivering secure, modernized IT infrastructure and endpoint management solutions within a highly regulated government environment. This position is . The will lead enterprise endpoint engineering, cloud administration, device management, and security compliance initiatives across Windows and macOS environments.

• Design, build, and maintain secure workstation images for Windows and macOS platforms, including VDI and remote access environments.
• Engineer and manage endpoint configurations, compliance policies, and device lifecycle operations utilizing Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, JAMF Pro, Ivanti, and KACE.
• Implement and oversee enterprise patch management initiatives, including deployment orchestration, validation, remediation, and rollback procedures.
• Configure endpoint logging, monitoring, and telemetry forwarding to enterprise SIEM and EDR platforms while supporting audit and forensic readiness efforts.
• Develop technical documentation, operational runbooks, remediation plans, findings reports, and validation reports in accordance with formal change management and security governance processes.

• 8+ years of experience in Information Technology, Endpoint Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of experience performing engineering-focused responsibilities within large enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments, Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, JAMF Pro, Ivanti, and/or KACE.
• Experience with endpoint security, patch management, passwordless authentication, SIEM/EDR integrations, compliance enforcement, and forensic collection processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered.

$110,000 - $124,000 depending on experience
