Job Description
Some intelligence is about understanding history. This mission is about understanding what is happening right now. When a situation begins to unfold anywhere in the world, decision makers need more than information. They need trusted analysis that helps them understand what they’re seeing, what it means, and what could happen next.
This is a rare chance to join us as an Imagery Analyst to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in a high tempo environment. As part of the National GEOINT Operations Center (NGOC), you’ll help transform imagery and geospatial intelligence into actionable insights that support real-world mission across the Intelligence Community. You’ll be part of a 24/7 mission where your analysis helps provide situational awareness during rapidly evolving global events. You’ll conduct first-phase dominant imagery exploitation and GEOINT analysis, exploiting and integrating multiple GEOINT sources, including EO, SAR, OPIR, LiDAR, HIS, and other geospatial intelligence data to produce timely, accurate intelligence products. Whether supporting emerging crises, military operations, or strategic intelligence requirements, the work you do helps deliver the information decision makers need when every minute matters. If you’re someone who enjoys solving complex intelligence challenges, thrives in fast-paced operational environments, and wants your work to have a direct impact on national security, join XTS today!
Requirements
Current active Top Secret / SCI clearance with CI poly.
You have achieved a Bachelor’s degree + 2 years / Associate’s + 3 years / 5+ years of relevant experience.
Ability to support a rotating 24/7/365 operational schedule as this mission provides continuous global coverage to ensure critical intelligence is available whenever emerging events occur.
Experience supporting strategic and theater GEONIT analysis to help provide context to both long-term intelligence priorities and rapidly evolving operational missions.
Proficiency with SoftCopy Keys, ArcGIS, RemoteView, SOCET GXP, or comparable NGA exploitation tools
Preferred Qualifications
Experience conducting first-phase imagery exploitation and GEOINT analysis as you will be identifying significant activity as events unfold and producing timely intelligence.
Understanding of Activity Based Intelligence (ABI) concepts and methodologies to recognize patterns, identify changes over time and connect activity across multiple intelligence sources to provide a more complete operational picture.
Experience with multiple GEOINT phenomenology, including SAR, EO, OPIR, LiDAR, HIS, or similar data sources to assist in integrating information from multiple collection platforms to build a comprehensive understanding of complex events.
GEOINT Professional Certification (GPC) – Fundamentals or GEOINT Professional Certification (GPC) – Imagery Analyst (IA) Level II.
If you’re looking for more than just your next position, and want to be a part of a mission where your analysis helps make sense of an increasingly complex world, send your resume directly to Lanchi Lai, (Lanchi.Lai@xts-inc.com).
